I turn ambitious ideas into intuitive products that scale

How I Got Here

I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I loved drawing and losing myself in the details, then stepping back to see how they all came together. Over time, that joy shifted from pencil and paper to pixels and screens, from static images to interactive experiences people could actually use and I became obsessed ever since.

In high school, I was designing event posters, websites, logos, and doing photoshoots for friends and family. Eventually, local businesses started hiring me for full brand and website packages. That first paid project in 2004 hooked me for life.

While earning my Bachelor of Design, I co-founded a small business with friends, pairing brand identities with website builds for local companies. It was my first deep dive into the business side of design, and I still consider myself extremely lucky for this.

I was drawn to the challenge of helping businesses grow, and poured all my creative energy into building digital experiences that made it possible.

What came next could fill many pages of this website, so for the sake of brevity, I'll keep it down to a few key points.

After graduating, I set my sights on learning from the best and joined OneMethod, my dream design studio. I threw myself into the work, often staying late to push every project further. From there, I jumped into an emerging startup TeamBuy to lead a design team, then moved to another agency (Sapient Nitro), where I worked with national brands and picked up a few web design awards along the way.

Eventually, I took the leap to start my own design consulting business. Over the next eight years, I was fortunate to meet and collaborate with incredibly talented and smart people across industries as varied as biotech, pro sports, entertainment, software, and finance. The work and industries itself was diverse, but what drew me in every time was the shared drive and curiosity of the people I partnered with. Those relationships shaped how I see design, not just as a craft, but as a way of understanding and connecting with people. Trends change, but the human side of design keeps evolving, and that’s where the real challenge lies.

My work has shifted from focusing on technology itself to the people who use it, because how we relate to technology matters as much as what it can do.

Today, my work balances leadership, strategy, and research. I’ve grown from crafting brands and products to building and leading design teams, guiding them from early ideas to scaled products. Over 15 years in, I’m still curious, still learning, and still just as passionate about creating meaningful experiences as when I was that kid sketching for hours. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for coming along for the ride. If you ever want to swap stories, share ideas, or just chat about design and the work I do, I'm always down to chat.
